Dr Moses Pediatric Plastic Surgeon

Michael Moses, MD
Plastic Surgeon - Clinic Director

Michael Moses, MD is a board certified plastic surgeon. He has been working to help children with congenital and acquired facial differences for over 15 years. Currently, Dr. Moses is Chief of Plastic Surgery at Touro Infirmary, the Director of the Cleft and Craniofacial team at Children's Hospital, and on the faculty of Tulane University and LSU School of Medicine. Dr. Moses is also an avid art collector, specializing in New Orleans artists.

Evelyn A. Kluka, M.D. is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist with sub-specialty training in Pediatric Otolaryngology. She has been a member of the Craniofacial team since joining the medical staff at Children's Hospital in 1991. She is director of Pediatric Otolaryngology education at Children's Hospital and division head of Pediatric Otolaryngology in the department of Otolaryngology at the LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine.

Dr. Michael A. Hagmann

Dr. Michael Hagmann is Assistant Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology at LSU School of Medicine. He is a graduate of the LSU School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency. His primary area of expertise is in Pediatric Otolaryngology. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Hagmann has participated in the development of a contact laser for ENT surgery, and has been a speaker for Pfizer, GSH, Alcon, UCB, Abbott, Cupin, and Aventis. His philosophy is to always do what is best for the patient.

Lori A. McBride, MD is a board certified neurosurgeon. Her areas of expertise include craniofacial surgery, neuro-endoscopy, and neurotrauma/critical care. Dr. McBride was a graduate of LSU Medical School, completed her residency in neurosurgery at the University of Colorado, and received a Pediatric Neurosurgery Fellowship at Children's Medical Center of Dallas, 1998-1999. Dr. McBride appreciates the value of the multi-specialty team approach used in the Children's Hospital craniofacial clinic. She believes that it ensures the best care for our patients and is more convenient for families.

Willliam LeDoux, DDS Pediatric Orthodontist

Dr. Ledoux has been a member of Children's Hospital Craniofacial Team since 1995, and also has a private practice. His practice is a unique blend of art, science, and experience. His focus is on personal attention and meticulous state-of-the-art care in craniofacial orthodonitics. Dr. LeDoux is actively involved in training and education of dentists specializing in orthodontics as a faculty member of the Department of Orthodontics at LSU School of Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr Ledoux is also an avid fisherman. He is married and has four children.

Mark N. Coreil, DDS is a Board Certified orthodontist. He has worked with children who have craniofacial problems over the past five years. Dr Coreil is Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthodontics at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and is actively involved as an orthodontist on the Children's Hospital Cleft and Craniofacial Team. Dr. Coreil graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1986 and completed his orthodontic specialty training at LSU in 1988.

Demarcus Smith IV, DDS Pediatric Oral Surgeon

After earning his dental degree at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, Demarcus D. Smith, DDS, continued his specialty training at the Charity Hospital of New Orleans (LSU) to enhance his knowledge of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Here he completed an internship and residency in the specialty while acting as Chief Resident of Oral Surgery. Board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Smith has served on the faculty of Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and conducted a number of lectures to his peers. He is a member of professional groups such as the American Dental Association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the New Orleans Dental Association.

Dr. Smith enjoys working with children and craniofacial development problems. He has been involved in such work for most of his practicing career both at Ochsner Clinic and Children's Hospital of New Orleans.

Dr. Smith resides in Metairie with his wife Cherie, and their two children. With commitment to his community just as strong as his commitment to dentistry, Dr. Smith is actively involved in St. Catherine's parish. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and fishing.

Claudia Cavallino, DDS

Dr. Claudia Cavallino, a lifelong resident of New Orleans, specializes in preventive and restorative dentistry, and dentistry for children with special health care needs. Dr. Cavallino received her B.A. from Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT, her D.D.S. from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans, and completed her Pediatric Dentistry Residency at LSU School of Dentistry/Children's Hospital. Dr. Cavallino's experience includes private practice in New Orleans, Metairie, and Houma, with hospital affiliations at Children's Hospital, Ochsner Hospital, Terrebonne General Medical Center, and East Jefferson General Hospital.

Dr. Cavallino's professional accomplishments include being Associate Professor at LSU School of Dentistry, Department of Pediatric Dentistry, as well as a 2007 appointment to the New Orleans Dental Conference Committee. Her volunteer activities include serving on the Terrebonne Parish Head Start Health Advisory Committee. Her personal interests include music and traveling.

Yves Lacassie, MD is Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, Head of the Division of Clinical Genetics, Department of Pediatrics, Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, and Director of Genetic Services, Children's Hospital of New Orleans. A graduate of the University of Chile, Dr. Lacassie had his formal training in Pediatrics and Genetics in Chile and at Johns Hopkins University under Dr. Victor A. McKusick.

Dr. Lacassie has been the Head of the Division of Clinical Genetics, Department of Pediatrics, at LSUMC in New Orleans since 1986. He is board certified in Clinical Genetics and Founder Fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics. He belongs to several major scientific societies including the ASHG, ESHG, ALAG, and the Ibero-American Society of Human Genetics (President 1998-2000). His major interests are dysmorphology, the delineation of new syndromes, the nosology of genetic diseases, and the clinical use of dermatoglyphics.

Michael Marble, MD was educated at the University of Arizona, Tuscon and continued on to medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Following his internship and residency in Pediatrics, Dr. Marble gained further experience as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Pediatric Genetics at John Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Marble developed and directs the Metabolic Clinic at Children's Hospital in addition to participating in Neurofibromatosis, Down Syndrome and Craniofacial Clinics. He is the Co-Medical Director of the Children's Hospital Metabolic Laboratory. Dr. Marble also conducts outreach clinics at a number of locations in Southern Louisiana.

Speech-Language Pathologist

Jennifer Ogden is a speech-language pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. She has a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University and a Master of Communication Disorders from LSU Medical Center. She has been a pediatric therapist at Children's Hospital since 1999. Jennifer is a Baton Rouge native and a fan of the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints.

Amanda Giles, the audiologist for Children's Hospital, specializes in pediatric diagnostic assessment of hearing and hearing aid fitting. She received her Masters of Communication Disorders from LSU Health Sciences Center.

Mary Ellen Alexander has been a pediatric nurse for over 20 years. She has degrees in nursing and psychology, and a Master's degree in Nursing from LSUMC. She has worked in the field of craniofacial care since 1994, and has prior experience in pediatric intensive care and pulmonary nursing.
